Minnesota Job Skills Partnership

MN DEED Logo with Minnesota blue green

The Minnesota Jobs Skills Partnership (MJSP) program allows businesses and educational institutions  to train or retrain workers, expand work opportunities, and keep high-quality jobs in the state.

Designated training grants are used to offset training-related expenses incurred by business, industry and educational institutions necessary to meet current and future workforce needs

Minnesota participating businesses must partner with an accredited Minnesota educational institution. Grants of up to $400,000 are awarded to the educational institution to develop and deliver training specific to the business needs. A cash or in-kind contribution from the participating business must match grant funds on at least a one-to-one basis.

A short-form application is available for grants of up to $50,000.

Projects average one to three years in duration.

For more information, contact Larry Raddatz at Century College or VHEDC Executive Director, Ling Becker.
