MINNEAPOLIS – The Minnesota Business Ethics Award (MBEA) Steering Committee announces the finalists for the 2017 awards. The MBEA recognizes businesses that exemplify, raise the bar and promote ethical conduct for the benefit of the workplace, marketplace and community.

The 2017 award finalists are:

The MBEA recipients will be announced at the luncheon on Wednesday, May 10 at the Nicollet Island Pavilion in

Minneapolis. The keynote speaker is Neel Kashkari, president and chief executive officer of the Federal Reserve Bank of Minneapolis. In this role, he serves on the Federal Open Market Committee, bringing the Fed’s Ninth District’s perspective to the monetary policy discussions in Washington.

The MBEA recognizes Minnesota businesses that exemplify and promote ethical conduct in the workplace, the marketplace and the community. Since its founding in 1999, the MBEA has recognized 49 Minnesota-based businesses, ranging in size from less than 10 employees to more than 150,000. The MBEA was founded by the Society of Financial Service Professionals – Twin Cities Chapter and the Center for Ethical Business Cultures (CEBC) at the University of St. Thomas Opus College of Business. Joining these two organizations as a sponsor is the Financial Executives International (FEI) – Twin Cities Chapter.
