VHEDC Accepting Nominations for 2017 Business Awards

The Vadnais Heights Economic Development Corporation (VHEDC) is taking nominations for its annual business awards.  Each year the VHEDC bestows business awards to area businesses for their professional success and contributions to the community.  In 2016, there were three award recipients announced at the VHEDC Annual Dinner.  Those honored included: H.B. Fuller (Keith Warner Standard of Excellence Award), The Urgency Room  (VHEDC Business Achievement Award) and Du Fresne Manufacturing and White Bear Lake Area Schools (Community Partnership Award).  2017 Award categories are as follows:

Keith Warner Standard of Excellence Award: This honor is bestowed on a business that has shown a singular degree of excellence in the areas of business success, philanthropy and community service.

VHEDC Business Achievement Award: This award created to establish special tribute for outstanding companies that continue to thrive and support the local economy.  Recipients demonstrate excellence in their professional service industry.

Community Partnership Award: The VHEDC proudly recognizes our outstanding partners for their exemplary commitment and accomplishments. As collaborative partners, these organizations help the VHEDC to advance its mission of ensuring a thriving local business economy in Vadnais Heights and the surrounding areas.

To be eligible for nomination a business/organization must be either located in Vadnais Heights or be a VHEDC investing business. The business must demonstrate a strong commitment to social responsibility and exemplify strong community involvement. The nominated business must not have won the same award in the last five years. A business cannot win more than one award in a single year.  Nominations can be made on the VHEDC website (https://vhedc1.wpengine.com/nominate-a-business/). Nominations will close on September 1. Winners will be announced at the VHEDC’s Annual Dinner on November 14, 2017 at the Vadnais Heights Commons.

The VHEDC is a private, non-profit working to further the mission of economic development in Vadnais Heights and the surrounding areas.
